Artisans at The Ahwahnee

The Ahwahnee hosts a unique series entitled “Artisans at the Ahwahnee”, to provide visitors with the opportunity to sample the wealth of artistic talent in our region.  Each month throughout the year we proudly feature a different artisan in The Ahwahnee Gift Shop, with artwork ranging from wood sculpture to photography to pottery.  During a special weekend each month, the artists will also be present to sign their work and talk about their creative process.

August – Don't miss Pat Toth-Smith - The upcoming featured artisan in the "Artisan at the Ahwahnee" series at The Ahwahnee Hotel.  Pat, a well known photographer for over 20 years, found her passion in fine art wildlife and nature photography. A variety of photographs will be available for purchase.

Saturday and Sunday August 16 - 17, 2008
in the lobby of The Ahwahnee
from 1 – 5 pm

Her work will also be featured at The Ahwahnee Gift Shop for the remainder of the month.
